The Waist Drape Fantasy

Fresh (to say the least) from the runway, the paperbag trend has hit the fashion street, and like how. It has undoubtedly become one of the most loved trends of the recent times. Comfy yet chic, the trend has come like a breath of fresh air. To give a basic idea of what the Paper bag is like, the apparel is tied like a bag at the waist, with some loose pleated fabric over the belt area. The waistline is usually high-waisted and mostly baggy. They give a more feminine touch to the outfit with an edge. Yes, it might be a little tricky for people with unflattering belly, but then, who cares. Anyone can wear them. The best part about paper bag is the versatility it holds. There are umpteen ways the trend can be introduced in the wardrobe and can be styled in so many ways.

The paper bag pants can be a good alternative to the regular formal trousers or can be paired with a fancy top to create a more chic look. But hold on, why just stick to trousers, just take a glance at shorts with paper bag detailing and you are bound to fall in love at first sight. I went a step further and picked up a skirt with the style. Needless to mention, I love it.

But what really disappointing is that the range of paper bag clothing in India is very rare. I have come across only a few brands that have put it up on display. But, I did manage to get my hands laid on some good ones.

If you find them, grab them. They are the season’s best trend.

I would love to know if you have already experienced or have your eyes already laid.
